@TasnimNews [in reply to: High expectations from the new British Prime Minister After months of deep government crisis, Britain has a new prime minister. Andy Burnham, the former mayor of Manchester, was chosen by King Charles III to be the new British Prime Minister. He promised to transfer political and economic power back to the state sector and from London to the regions. He wants to establish his party as a popular force, free from factional conflicts. Now expectations are high for him. But the problems are just as great. Burnham must rebuild the shaky ruling party and revive the collapsed British economy. He is also expected to end the meteoric rise of the right-wing populist Reform Party.
