How Sygn works
Sygn is a terminal for prediction markets — markets where you buy Yes or No on real-world questions and every winning share pays $1. This guide covers the whole loop in plain English: reading the odds, adding money, trading, and cashing out. No crypto experience needed.
What is Sygn?
A prediction market is a market on a real-world question — "Will X win the election?", "Will the Fed cut rates this month?". Instead of arguing about it, people put money on it. The price is the live answer: what the crowd, with money at stake, actually believes.
The markets and odds on Sygn come from Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market. Sygn is a faster window into it, built around one idea: odds move when news breaks, so the news belongs on the same screen as the odds.
Sygn's live wire matches breaking news and posts to the exact markets they move and shows which side the news favors — and every call keeps its receipt: the price when the story hit, and how that side has done since.
Reading the odds
Prices are in cents, from 0¢ to 100¢, and the price is the probability. Yes trading at 30¢ means the market gives the event about a 30% chance of happening.
Every share pays $1 if you're right and nothing if you're wrong. Buy Yes at 30¢ and the market resolves Yes — each share you bought for 30¢ is now worth $1.
Think it won't happen? Buy No. No at 70¢ pays $1 per share if the event doesn't happen.
Odds aren't set by a bookmaker — they move every time someone trades or news lands. That also means you're never locked in: you can sell your shares at the going price whenever you like.
Getting started
You can browse everything — markets, trending, the news wire — without an account. Signing in unlocks trading, search, alerts, and rewards.
Sign in with your email (we send you a one-time code) or connect a crypto wallet if you have one. No passwords.
On your first sign-in Sygn sets up your deposit wallet — your own on-chain account that holds your money and positions. It takes about a minute, and it's yours: the key that controls it can be exported any time from Settings.
Pick a username in Settings — it doubles as your referral code. Sygn is in beta, so some sign-ups may be asked for an invite code.
Adding money
Hit the green Deposit button in the header. There are three ways in:
Card and everyday payments
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, bank transfer and other local methods, depending on your region. Most are instant; bank transfers take 1–2 business days. Minimums vary by method and are shown before you pay.
Crypto
Send USDC from any wallet or exchange. Pick the network you're sending on, then send to the address shown (or scan the QR code). Only send the exact token and network the dialog shows — anything else can't be recovered.
Bitcoin via Cash App
Pay a Lightning invoice straight from Cash App — from $5, settles in seconds.
Whatever you send is automatically converted into your balance, which you'll see as plain dollars. (Under the hood your cash is held as pUSD, a digital dollar used on Polymarket — one pUSD is worth one dollar.) After a deposit lands there's a short converting step — give it a few seconds.
Making a trade
Open a market, pick Yes or No, type a dollar amount, and hit Buy. The minimum is $1. Before you confirm, the ticket shows your estimated shares, average price, and the number that matters — Profit if right.
There are two order types. Market buys instantly at the best available price — the one to use when you're starting out. Limit lets you name your own price; the order waits in the book and only fills if the market reaches it.
You can sell at any time — you don't have to wait for the market to end. Your position shows a Sell button, and it fills at whatever the market pays right now.
The news wire has one-click Yes/No buttons that buy a preset amount the moment you see a signal (you set the amount in the strip above the feed). If the price has moved more than your slippage setting since you clicked, Sygn asks before spending — slippage is just the gap between the price you saw and the price you'd actually get.
When a market ends
When the real-world outcome is known, the market resolves and trading closes. Winning shares are worth exactly $1 each; losing shares are worth nothing.
If Auto-redeem is on (the cash panel in Portfolio shows "On — wins settle to cash"), winnings turn into cash automatically. If it's off, click Redeem on the position and the cash is yours.
Occasionally a market shows Resolution pending — the outcome is being double-checked before anyone is paid. Payouts go through once it's confirmed.
The news wire
The wire is Sygn's live feed of breaking news and posts. Each item is matched to the market it affects, with a read on which side the news favors and how confident the match is.
Every call keeps its receipt: the market price at the moment the story hit, and the return on that side since. You always know how a call has actually done — nothing gets to quietly disappear.
Make it yours: the bell on any market page pings you when news hits that market; keywords you add in Settings get highlighted in the feed (and can ping you) even without a market match; and the feed pops out into a small always-on-top window if you want it beside whatever else you're doing.
Prefer Telegram? Connect @SygnTerminalBot in Settings for prices, your positions, and watch alerts in your DMs. The bot is read-only by design — it can never trade or move money.
Rewards and referrals
Inviting friends pays real money: you earn 20% of the trading fees of everyone you bring in, paid in USD, settling daily. Your cut climbs as your rank rises — up to 50%. Your invite link lives on the Rewards page.
Trading also earns points, boosted by daily streaks, volume multipliers, and quests. Points are your leaderboard and season standing — they aren't cash and can't be converted. The money side of rewards is the referral fee share.
Your current multiplier, streak, quests, and rank all live on the Rewards page — the numbers there are always the live ones.
Cashing out
Go to Portfolio and hit Withdraw. Sending to Polygon (as USDC.e) is free, has no minimum, and lands in about a minute.
You can also withdraw to other networks: a small network fee and an estimated arrival time are shown before you confirm, and the minimum is $2.
Double-check the destination: the address must be on the network you picked — funds sent to the wrong network are lost.
Staying safe
- Your money lives in your deposit wallet — an on-chain account you control, not a Sygn company account. Signing out doesn't touch it.
- The key that controls your account can be exported in Settings. Anyone who has it controls your funds — Sygn support will never ask for it. Never share it, never type it into another site.
- Only deposit through the Deposit dialog, and only send exactly what it shows — the right token on the right network.
- A wrong call costs what you spent on it and never more — but that's still real money. Trade only what you can afford to lose. Sygn is for adults (18+).

FAQ
Do I need to understand crypto?
No. Sign in with email, deposit with a card or Apple Pay where available, and everything on screen is plain dollars. The crypto rails run underneath, but you never have to touch them.
I deposited and my balance is still $0.
Deposits go through a short converting step after they arrive — give it a few seconds. If something interrupts it, open the Deposit dialog: a "Recover stranded USDC.e" card will be waiting with a one-click Convert.
I sent the wrong coin or the wrong network.
Crypto sent as the wrong token or on the wrong network can't be recovered — the deposit screen shows exactly what to send. When in doubt, send a small test amount first.
Why can't I pay with a card?
Card and cash methods depend on the payment providers available in your region. If none show for you, the crypto route always works.
My limit order isn't doing anything.
That's normal — a limit order waits until the market reaches your price, and by default it never expires. Cancel it any time under Portfolio → Open orders.
What is "Reserved in orders"?
Cash set aside to back your waiting limit orders. It frees up the moment an order fills or you cancel it.
What does it cost?
Depositing is free on Sygn's side (card providers may add their own charge, shown before you pay). Some markets charge a small trading fee when an order fills instantly; orders that wait in the book at your own price don't pay it. Withdrawing to Polygon is free; other networks show their fee before you confirm.
Can I use Sygn on my phone?
Mostly, yes — markets, portfolio, news, rewards, and settings all work on mobile. A few pages are still desktop-only and say so; we're opening them up one at a time.
