Only Americans remain in the top 10 richest people in the world, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Elon Musk holds first place in the ranking by a wide margin - his fortune is estimated at $919 billion, having increased by $299 billion since the beginning of the year. Google co-founder Larry Page ($286 billion) and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos ($274 billion), who occupy second and third places, also significantly increased their fortunes this year - by $17 billion and $20.4 billion, respectively. The agency classified nine of the top 10 people in the "technology" category. Only one—Berkshire Hathaway investment fund founder Warren Buffett—is classified as a "diversified business," but a significant portion of his fortune is tied to investments in high-tech companies.
