[UPDATE] Final results of Russia's tightly managed vote give a record high parliament seats to Kremlin party (first reported at 2026-09-25T12:09:02Z)
Russia's Ruling Party Wins Landslide Victory in First General Election Since Ukraine War... Secures 78% of Lower House
Live: Meanwhile, Russian authorities released the full results from the country’s parliamentary election, and, would you believe it!? , the main Kremlin party, United
Today, at a joint meeting of the Bureau of the Supreme Council and the Presidium of the General Council of United Russia, together with party Chairman Dmitry Medvedev, Secretary of the General Council Vladimir Yakushev and colleagues, the preliminary results of the Single Voting Day were summed up. Nationwide, United Russia received approximately 58% of the vote and 349 mandates in the State Duma. Such a high result is, first and foremost, a sign of trust in the President and support for the course our country is currently taking. In the Moscow Region, turnout was 52.74%. In the State Duma elections in a single constituency, United Russia received 56.22%, with the party's candidates winning in all 12 single-mandate constituencies. In the Moscow Regional Duma, the party received 39 of 50 mandates. Almost 4,000 polling stations were open in the region, and more than 665,000 residents voted remotely. Home voting was organized for those who found it difficult to get to the polling station. The Moscow Region traditionally remains one of United Russia's strongholds. And for us, this is, above all, a great responsibility—to everyone who supported the party and submitted their requests. Now our task is to implement our residents' proposals and justify their trust with concrete work. In total, more than 920,000 requests were included in the new People's Program. Voting results are not just about numbers and mandates. They are a commitment to listening to people and following through on what was discussed at meetings in courtyards, businesses, schools, and hospitals. Each district has its own tasks. What concerns the residents of Mytishchi differs from the issues of Serebryanye Prudy. Therefore, each request must be analyzed and become part of specific work in the region. We will return to these issues, look at what has already been done, where additional solutions are needed, and monitor the results together with residents.

How did this market resolve?
Parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Russia on September 20, 2026.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if the United Russia party list receives the greatest number of valid votes of any party list in each individual region in the 2026 Russian legislative elections. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No".
For the purposes of this market, a region means any federal subject of the Russian Federation for which results of the federal party-list vote are separately reported by the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
This market will resolve solely according to the valid votes received by each party list in each region. The number of seats won by any party, including any seats won in single-member constituencies, will have no bearing on resolution.
If the United Russia party list is tied with multiple party lists for the greatest number of valid votes in a region, United Russia will be considered to have received the greatest number of valid votes in that region for the purposes of this market.
If the results of this election are not known definitively by September 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No".
This market will resolve based on the results of this election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results reported by Russian government sources such as the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation.
