The 2026 FIFA World Cup Final is currently scheduled to take place on July 19, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET in New Jersey. This market will resolve to “Yes” if FIFA announces that the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final is halted during the game or is otherwise postponed prior to kickoff due to adverse weather. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying announcement must cite adverse weather as the reason for the delay or halting. Delays for unspecified or non-weather related reasons will not qualify. Only delays will qualify. A kickoff occurring earlier than the scheduled time, or a change moving the scheduled kickoff earlier, will not qualify. A delay attributed to poor air quality will qualify. The extension of a mid-game break will only qualify if the extension is officially announced as being caused by adverse weather. If no qualifying adverse weather delay announcement has been made and the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final does not kickoff by July 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to “No”. A qualifying delay must be announced by FIFA, the relevant 2026 FIFA World Cup organizing committee, an authorized representative (e.g. referee) thereof, or another official organizer of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the listed sources.
